Tourism Universal Accessibility
The Department of Tourism appointed Gauge to carry out universal accessibility audits and develop design recommendations at provincial parks around South African including the Cedarberg, Lekgalameetse, Pilanesburg, Suikerbosrand and Goegap. Detailed audits with recommendations, construction drawings, costings and an implementation methodology were developed that can be followed by the Department working with provincial partners to improve accessibility at key tourism sites.
